COURSE DESCRIPTION
LOW-LIGHT PISTOL COURSE
The Allegiance Defense Solutions Low-Light Pistol Course is a training course designed to refine your shooting skills in low-light conditions. Building on the fundamentals from the Fundamental Pistol and Combative Pistol courses, this course addresses the specific challenges of shooting in diminished lighting.
Participants will learn to effectively use their pistols at nighttime and other low-light scenarios through practical exercises and expert instruction. This course is intended to enhance your ability to handle firearms safely and accurately in various real-world conditions.
***Note: This course builds on the principles taught in the Fundamental and Combative Pistol Courses, with a focus on adapting these skills to low-light environments. It is often offered as an add-on to these courses and may be scheduled in conjunction with or shortly after. Please bring an additional 250 rounds of ammunition.***
Required Equipment:
- 400 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition (more or less as desired)
- Aiming device (iron sights acceptable)
- At least 3 pistol magazines
- Eye protection (tinted/clear lenses)
- Firearm cleaning/maintenance gear
- Headlamp with white/red light options and extra batteries
- Hearing protection (electronic preferred but not required)
- Hydrating drinks, food/snacks
- Magazine pouch(s)
- Quality belt
- Quality semi-auto pistol
- Secure kydex-type holster (inside or outside waistband)
- Tactical/handheld flashlight with extra batteries
- Weather-appropriate clothing

- Individual first aid kit (TCCC/TECC)
- Note-taking materials
- Pistol-mounted light with extra batteries
- Stowable chair
- Sunblock, bug spray, and other comfort items
- Training pistol, blade, and tourniquet matching your live gear
