FUNDAMENTAL PISTOL COURSE

The Allegiance Defense Solutions Fundamental Pistol Course is a one-day training course designed to build essential pistol skills for newer shooters.

Participants will explore essential topics, including:

• Firearm selection, setup, and gear optimization
• Safe handling
• Range etiquette
• Administrative loading & unloading
• Fundamental application of pistol marksmanship
• Emergency reloads
• Malfunction Clearances

The course aims to equip students with the foundation, proficiency and confidence needed to handle their pistol safely, efficiently and effectively.

Required Equipment:

• 400 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition (more or less as desired)
• Quality semi-auto pistol
• Aiming device (iron sights acceptable)
• Secure kydex-type holster (inside or outside waistband)
• Quality belt
• At least 3 pistol magazines
• Magazine pouch(s)
• Eye protection (tinted/clear lenses)
• Hearing protection (electronic preferred but not required)
• Firearm cleaning/maintenance gear
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Hydrating drinks, food/snacks

Recommended Equipment:

• Individual first aid kit (TCCC/TECC)
• Training pistol, blade, and tourniquet matching your live gear
• Stowable chair
• Sunblock, bug spray, and other comfort items
• Note-taking materials
