COURSE DESCRIPTION
FUNDAMENTAL CARBINE COURSE
The Allegiance Defense Solutions Fundamental Carbine Course is a key one-day training that lays a solid foundation for carbine handling. Designed for beginners, this course covers safe firearm practices, including handling, storage, and range etiquette, fundamentals of marksmanship as well as loading and unloading procedures.
Participants will gain practical skill in:
- Firearm selection, setup, and gear optimization
- Safe handling
- Range etiquette
- Administrative loading & unloading
- Zeroing
- Fundamentals of carbine marksmanship
- Emergency reloads
- Malfunction Clearances
This course ensures a comprehensive understanding of essential skills, providing a strong base for further and more advanced training.
Required Equipment:
- 400 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition (more or less as desired)
- Quality carbine
- Optic (Red dot preferred; LPVO acceptable)
- Quality sling
- At least 3 carbine magazines
- Magazine pouch(s)
- Eye protection (tinted/clear lenses)
- Hearing protection (electronic preferred but not required)
- Firearm cleaning/maintenance gear
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Hydrating drinks, food/snacks
Recommended Equipment:
- Individual first aid kit (TCCC/TECC)
- Stowable/packable chair
- Sunblock, bug spray, and other comfort items
- Note-taking materials
