COURSE DESCRIPTION
LOW-LIGHT CARBINE COURSE
The Allegiance Defense Solutions Low-Light Carbine Course is a specialized training designed to enhance proficiency in low-light shooting scenarios. Building on the skills from the Fundamental and Combative Carbine Courses, this course addresses the unique challenges of shooting in diminished lighting conditions.
Participants will learn:
- Applying carbine skills under low-light conditions
- Using tactical lights and headlamps effectively
- Engaging targets and managing equipment in challenging lighting
This course is ideal for those seeking to expand their carbine skills to night and low-light scenarios.
***Note: This course builds on the principles taught in the Fundamental and Combative Carbine Courses, with a focus on adapting these skills to low-light environments. It is often offered as an add-on to these courses and may be scheduled in conjunction with or shortly after. Please bring an additional 250 rounds of ammunition.***
Required Equipment:
- 400 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition (more or less as desired)
- Quality carbine
- Optic (Red dot preferred; LPVO acceptable)
- Quality sling
- At least 3 carbine magazines
- Magazine pouch(s)
- Carbine-mounted light with extra batteries
- Eye protection (tinted/clear lenses)
- Hearing protection (electronic preferred but not required)
- Headlamp with white/red light options and extra batteries
- Firearm cleaning/maintenance gear
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Hydrating drinks, food/snacks
Recommended Equipment:
- Handheld tactical light with extra batteries
- Individual first aid kit (TCCC/TECC)
- Stowable/packable chair
- Sunblock, bug spray, and other comfort items
- Note-taking materials
